Water analyzers are designed to read water for a variety of chemical and biological agents as well as clarity, rate of movement, etc. Monitored water quality factors may include pH, dissolved carbon dioxide, dissolved oxygen, biological oxygen demand (BOD), conductivity or dissolved solids, suspended solids, turbidity, presence of oil in water and oil/water interface levels.
Gas analyzers, monitor or analyze gases present in an environment. Detectors sense situations outside normal operating parameters and are set to alarm when these conditions are violated. Monitors are also set up to alarm, but their role is to determine which gases are in the stream being measured, and in what quantity they are present. Gas analyzers can sense sometimes just one gas or else can sense multiple types of gases with one instrument.
Conductivity analyzers, dissolved solids analyzers, and resistivity analyzers are analytical instruments that measure either conductivity, or resistivity of a liquid sample. The analyzers can measure either one or a combination of these qualities. Because the qualities are so similar, combination analyzers are common instead of an analyzer that measures just one of these.
Humidity analyzers can sense a number of different factors. Absolute humidity, expressed as grams of water vapor per cubic meter volume of air, is a measure of the actual amount of water vapor or moisture in the air, regardless of the air's temperature. Relative humidity (RH), expressed as a percent, also measures water vapor, but relative to the temperature of the air. The dew point temperature, which provides a measure of the actual amount of water vapor in the air, is the temperature to which the air must be cooled in order for that air to be saturated and dew to form.
The above is just a sampling of the analyzers you will find on this site.Below is a list of companies who sell the products.
