Current Indicators, Switches, Transducers & Sensors Directory

The Current Indicators, Current Switches, Current Transducers and Current Sensors Directory section from Process Controls and Instrumentation Buyers Guide is a comprehensive directory resource to industry leading manufacturers.

The Current Indicators, Current Switches, Current Transducers and Current Sensors Directory features products from the world's leading manufacturers.

AC Split Core Current Sensors

AC Split Core Current Sensors Series SC200 convert a monitored AC current to a proportional 4-20mA output. AC Split Core Current Sensors Series SC200 are used to monitor motors, pumps, conveyors, machine tools and any electrical load where an analogue representation is required over a range of currents. All models are CSA approved and UL listed.

AC Split Core Current Transducers

AC Split Core Current Transducers Series SC100 converts a monitored AC current to a proportional DC voltage of 0 to 5 Volts. AC Split Core Current Transducers Series SC100 are used to monitor motors, pumps, conveyors, machine tools and any electrical load where an analogue representation is required over a range of currents. All models are CSA approved and UL listed.

Current Sensing Relays

Current Sensing Relay CR4395 series provides an effective and highly stable method for monitoring electrical current. The current-carrying wire is routed through the opening extending from the top of the case. When current reaches the level set by the trip point adjustment, the relay trips and starts the adjustable timer.

Current Switch

Low Cost Status Indication Fixed Setpoint Current Operated Solid State Status Sensor. Current Switch Model 225 is our lowest cost fixed setpoint current operated solid state status sensor. Current Switch Model 225 monitors from 1 to 250 Amperes and switches up to 135 volts AC or DC. Internal circuits are totally powered by induction from the line being monitored.

Current Switches

Current Switches are specifically designed for low cost, high volume OEM uses of monitoring motor overloads and heater elements. The CR9321 Current Switches are fully isolated to protect delicate monitoring equipment. It is also self-powered requiring no external power supply. The low turn-on point of .350 Amp AC allows the monitoring of very small electrical loads.

Electrical Current Transformers

The CR Magnetics line of Instrumentation Grade Electrical Current Transformers are available in either Commercial or ANSI Metering Class. The commercial class transformers are lower cost and well-suited for current monitoring applications.

Loop Powered Solid Core Current Transmitter

The CR4220 Series, Loop-powered, Current Transmitter produces 4 - 20 mA DC output current proportional to the input average RMS AC current. These devices provide long range monitoring of AC sinusoidal currents in an easy to install package.

Multifunction Digital Transducer Single Phase

The all new CR Magnetics Data Stream Series of Electrical Properties Transducers are the most advanced electrical sensing products available in the industry. Voltage, Current, Power, Power Factor, Energy and Frequency can all be monitored in a single package.

Remote Current Indicators

Remote Current Indicators CR2530 series are a low cost method for providing a visual indication of electrical current flow. Remote Current Indicator sare factory calibrated to provide a preset turn-on point. The value of the turn-on point is determined by the customer and specified in the part number.

Split Core Current Sensors

Split Core Current Sensors Model SC225 is our easiest to install fixed setpoint current operated solid state status sensor for status indication. The one unit is pre-set to switch at 1.5 amps and will switch either AC or DC loads. This flexible design eliminates installation problems.

Split Core Current Transducers Split Core

The CR4110/20S Series provide True RMS sensing of the current waveform. True RMS is recommended when sensing current waveforms that are variable frequency, chopped up, or non-sinusoidal in general.

Solid Core Current Switch Sentry 250

Setpoint Current Operated Solid State Sensors AC or DC Loads. Solid Core Current Switch Sentry 250 is an adjustable setpoint current operated solid state sensor which monitors currents from 1 to 150 Amperes and switches up to 135 volts AC or DC. Internal circuits are totally powered by induction from the line being monitored.

Solid Core Current Transformers Sentry 100

Solid Core Current Transformers with 0-5V output. Current Transformers Solid Core Sentry 100 Series convert a monitored AC current to a proportional DC voltage of 0 to 5 Volts. Current Transformers Solid Core Sentry 100 Series are used to monitor motors, pumps, conveyors, machine tools and any electrical load where an analogue representation is required over a range of currents.

Solid Core Current Transducers Sentry 200 Series

Solid Core Current Transducers Sentry 200 Series with 4-20 mA output. Current Transducers Solid Core Sentry 200 Series converts a monitored AC current to a proportional 4-20 mA output. Current Transducers Solid Core Sentry 200 Series are used to monitor pumps, motors, conveyors, machine tools, and any electrical load where an analogue representation is required over a range of currents.

True RMS Current Transducers Solid Core

CR4110/4120 Series True RMS Current Transducers and Transmitters are designed for applications where AC current waveforms are not purely sinusoidal. More precise and accurate than other transducers, these devices are ideal in chopped wave and phase fired control systems.

Universal Current Operated Switches, Solid State Status Sensor

The SC250 is our most flexible Current Operated Solid State Status Sensor. It monitors from 1 to 150 Amperes and switches up to 135 volts AC or DC. Internal circuits are totally powered by induction from the line being monitored.

About Us

Our Publisher and Owner has been involved in the Canadian Process Control Market for over 35 years. As a former publisher and founder of one of our competitor's print publications in 1992 he left and began his own print magazine known as The Complete Process Products Book which evolved into Process Controls and Instrumentation News. In 1999 we created www.process-controls.com which contained an online Buyers Guide. We further evolved to the web site you see today and began to develop and maintain web sites for our clients. We introduced The Process News in February 2004 with a worldwide circulation of 43,000 readers providing up-to-date information on the latest products.
