Float Switches Directory

Float Switches Directory section from Process Controls and Instrumentation is a float switches, magnetic float switches and liquid level float switches directory resource. The Float Switches Directory section presents products from the world's leading manufacturers.

Multi-Point Liquid Level Float Switches

Liquid Level Float Switches from Ktech Industrial Products Inc., are top-mounted with between one and four setpoints. A single point sensor may be used to provide a high or low level alarm contact.

Multi-Level Float Switches

LEVCON Series Multi-Level Float Switches are of brass construction. The tank entrance fitting is a 2" NPT galvanized iron brushing. Each switch has 1.5 feet of 18 AWG lead wire. Floats are made of Stainless Steel.

NCB - Magnetic Float Switches for Liquids

The NCB - Magnetic Float Switches for Liquids series use a hermetically sealed reed contact actuated by a magnet in the float. As the float rises and falls, the magnetic field causes the switch inside the stem to open or close.

NCG - Magnetic Float Switches for Liquids

The NCG - Magnetic Float Level Switch for liquids series use a hermetically sealed reed contact actuated by a magnet in the float. As the float rises and falls, the magnetic field causes the switch inside the stem to open or close.

S - Flow Switches

Flow Switches work on the well known float/variable area principle but without the use of an open conical measuring tube. Instead the instruments use a cylindrical control tube with a conical groove along its axis. This approach allows for higher rates of flow to be monitored in a compact switch. It also allows for greater control of turndown than with traditional conical tube variable area designs.

Single Point Liquid Level Float Switches

Liquid Level Float Switches from Ktech Industrial Products Inc., are top-mounted with between one and four setpoints. A single point sensor may be used to provide a high or low level alarm contact.

SMN Series Flow Switches

The SMN series flow switches are used where extremely low flow switching points are required in conjunction with minimal pressure drop at high flow rates. Typical applications include: control of water in cooling circuits, high-pressure cleaning equipment, flow detection in heating systems and a wide variety of other flow control applications.

Stainless Steel Float Switch

Model FS401 Stainless Steel Float Switch.

About Us

Our Publisher and Owner has been involved in the Canadian Process Control Market for over 35 years. As a former publisher and founder of one of our competitor's print publications in 1992 he left and began his own print magazine known as The Complete Process Products Book which evolved into Process Controls and Instrumentation News. In 1999 we created www.process-controls.com which contained an online Buyers Guide. We further evolved to the web site you see today and began to develop and maintain web sites for our clients. We introduced The Process News in February 2004 with a worldwide circulation of 43,000 readers providing up-to-date information on the latest products.
