Encoders, Linear Encoders, Rotary Shaft Encoders Directory

The Encoders: Linear Encoders and Rotary Shaft Encoders Directory section from Process Controls and Instrumentation Buyers Guide is a comprehensive directory resource to industry leading encoder manufacturers.

The Encoders: Linear Encoders and Rotary Shaft Encoders Directory section features absolute, incremental, rotary and linear encoders from the world's leading encoders manufacturers

Absolute Linear Encoders

The series of LMAX respective FLMAX was developed, in order to be able to use the advantages of the absolute measurement principle even for larger distances (e.g. high bay rackings). With LMAX and FLMAX now measuring lengths up to 1000 meters can be processed. For further processing, the measured absolute position are transmitted by an interface to a super ordinate system (e.g. PC or PLC).

Magnetic Incremental Linear Encoders

With GMIX2, ELGO-Electric offers an incremental sensor, which can be installed with a distance from up to 4 mm to the magnetic tape. With a resolution of 2.5 mm (repeating accuracy +/- 2.5 mm) and a max. operation speed of 10 m/s (output frequency 4 KHz), GMIX2 is suitable for applications in storage- or conveyor- techniques resp. for longer distances.

Rotary Encoders

Rotary Encoders from Fuzenba.

Rotary Encoders

Robust and high protected. Functions: max. 1250 pulses/rev., 10 KHz (more on request), 12 mm steel shaft, (stainless on request), IP 65, Anodized aluminium housing (massive), Weight:1100 g, Channels A/B inverted (option).

Elevator Linear Encoder

LIMAX was developed as a global platform solution for elevator manufactures and represents with its position characteristics an economical, insensitive and installation-friendly alternative to conventional elevator positioning. With its maximum measuring distance of 1000 meters LIMAX covers all possible measuring heights for elevators worldwide at this time.

Mechanical Guided Incremental Linear Encoder

PMIX is an assembly-finished alternative to conventional linear units with its wear-free, integrated incremental measuring sensor. The magnet sensor and the magnetic tape are accommodated in a mechanical cylinder and thus optimally guided. The assembly can be further simplified with additionally available swivel heads and mounting parts (accessories).

Rotary Optical Encoder

Compact low price encoder. Functions: Standard: 1...360 pulses/rev. (500 possible), With index pulse: 120... 360 pulses/rev. (500 possible), max. 10 KHz (mehr auf Anfrage), Double ball bearing, IP54 standard (IP63 option), Weight:144 g.

Lift Encoder

The guided system, with a guidance body from slidable plastic, is simple to install, moves the scanning sensor optimally over the magnetic tape and provides with its closed lower surface permanently for the correct mounting distance between sensor and magnetic tape. The plastic body consists of 2 identical halves.

Trans-Tek Model 0607 Optical Encoder & Model 1004 Counter Display

The Model 0607-0000 Optical Encoder and Model 1004-0000 Counter Display system provides precision feedback and readout of shaft angular displacement over the full 360 revolution.

About Us

Our Publisher and Owner has been involved in the Canadian Process Control Market for over 35 years. As a former publisher and founder of one of our competitor's print publications in 1992 he left and began his own print magazine known as The Complete Process Products Book which evolved into Process Controls and Instrumentation News. In 1999 we created www.process-controls.com which contained an online Buyers Guide. We further evolved to the web site you see today and began to develop and maintain web sites for our clients. We introduced The Process News in February 2004 with a worldwide circulation of 43,000 readers providing up-to-date information on the latest products.

Process News

Process News bi-weekly newsletter is sent out every second Tuesday to over 45,000 readers worldwide. Process News was designed to make it easy to obtain product information, get quotes, contact manufacturers or their representatives. The pages that follow contain the latest information supplied to us from manufacturers and their representatives on new products or services offered to the process controls and instrumentation market. Twice per month the Process News newsletter will be sent to you from Process Controls and Instrumentation. Each newsletter will contain the latest up-to-date product information available.
