Surge suppressors/suppression, lightning arrestors, are used to protect against temporary excess voltage and/or current in an electrical circuit that has been disturbed. Surge suppressors/suppression, lightning arrestors can be AC single phase, AC three phase, or DC dataline. AC single-phase units are configured to suppress surges, spike, transients, etc., on single-phase AC power lines. AC three phase units are configured to suppress surges, spike, transients, etc., on three phase AC power lines. DC or dataline units are configured to suppress surges, spike, transients, etc., on DC data, phone, and signal lines. Surge suppressors/suppression, lightning arrestors can also be power conditioners.
