Calibrate your IR sensors to 400°C with Hart’s new handheld infrared calibrator. It’s part of Hart’s line of small, lightweight, portable field calibrators designed to work the way you need them to at an absolute industry-leading price.

The Hart 9131 is small enough to hold in your hand while you point your IR sensor at its one-inch black body target. Simply plug it in, set the desired temperature and point your infrared pyrometer at the target. It’s that easy.

The specially machined concentric rings in the calibration target, or “black body,” reduce surface reflectance and assure a true temperature reading. A high-emissivity coating is baked on the target to give accurate calibration of your IR thermometer.

Most IR thermometers with fixed emissivity are set to match the 0.95 emissivity of our block. Meters with adjustable emissivity should be set to 0.95 when checking their accuracy.

A high-grade platinum RTD sensor is embedded in the target block. The digital controller and the platinum sensor are system-calibrated at Hart to ensure NIST-traceable accuracy in your calibrator. A thermometer reference well is drilled into the target block for an optional standards thermometer if increased accuracy is needed. The hole is placed just beneath the target surface and will fit a 1/8-inch-diameter sensor at a depth of 0.9 inches.
