Many of our Super-Thermometer customers also buy our 10-channel multiplexer, the Mighty-Mux. Well, the Mighty-Mux just got Mightier!

In addition to the 10-channel Model 2575, we now have the Model 2590 Mighty-Mux II, which features Hart’s new DWF Connectors that replace binding posts. It also has a cascading ability that lets you have up to 50 channels by chaining more than one Mux together, and you can now set continuous constant  current levels on each channel.

dwfconn.jpg (6281 bytes)The new DWF Connector is a universal connector that accepts bare wire, spade lugs and banana plugs in an extremely efficient manner. Look at all of those binding posts on most multiplexers! You’ve got to screw each one of those down. Not with the DWF Connector, which is unique to Hart products. It is so easy to use, that once you have used it, you won’t go back to traditional binding posts.

If 10 channels are not enough for you, with the Model 2590 Mighty-Mux II you just add more. You simply plug in a cable and you’re up and running with 10 more channels. You can also set each channel to a continuous and constant current rather than a current “on” status only when each channel is being scanned. Whatever your application, the Mighty-Mux II will make it easier and more efficient.

Both units have low thermal EMF relays that are hermetically sealed and magnetically shielded. Contact resistance is less than 0.1 ohms. You’re making true 4-wire measurements with a floating guard and support for up to 20 milliamps of drive current.

You probably think we named this new multiplexer the Mighty-Mux II because there is a shortage of great, creative names, and that may be true, but mighty is the only word that describes this product.
