 Pressurized tanks, pipelines, mixers and other sanitary vessels
are brightly illuminated by Lumiglas ® Model USL 03 luminaires. These compact units measure only 3-1/2 inches high
and mount directly onto virtually any vessel or pipeline to pro-vide
up to 50 watts of intense glare-free light through a
Metaglas ® safety glass lens.
These units have a proven bulb
life of over 2500 hours and are rated for use in all non-hazardous
areas. Lights are available with an optional push button
momentary on/off switch.
This design incorporates the proven MetaClamp ™ sanitary
mounting system with its Metaglas safety glass lens into a
single, compact unit that is equally well adapted to illuminating
the interior of new or existing sanitary processing equipment.
 Metaglas MetaClamp sanitary safety glass lenses are the strongest
and most secure glass elements available. Rupture tests
have demonstrated that Metaglas mechanically prestressed
glass remains leak tight at pressures far exceeding design pressure
due to the homogeneous compressive stress constant
throughout the glass.
With sealed stainless steel construction, these sturdy light ports
are dust and water jet resistant, even during external washdown,
providing safe illumination for sanitary applications. Sanitary
clamp connections are available for sizes ranging from 1 inch
to 12 inches.
