Caster Mag-Drive Pumps

Caster specializes in technically advanced, hermetically sealed pumping systems.  Caster seal-less Mag-Drive pumps are available in 18 designs with over 250 basic models. Caster is devoted to the production of seal-less magnetically coupled pumps. These pumps are built to withstand the most severe process conditions.

All Caster seal-less equipment is engineered to comply with new environmental regulations as defined within the 1990 EPA Clean Air Act.

Turbine vs. centrifugal or gear

Ideally suited to low flow applications, MT regenerative turbine pumps avoid oversized centrifugals with excessive by-pass and power requirements.  Exotic alloy gear designs often result in rapid corrosion and wear, leading to costly replacements.  MT non-metallic turbine designs have excellent chemical resistance and extremely low wearing characteristics.  Variation in head calculations have minimal effect on the flow of a turbine pump.  Also, turbine pumps are dynamic in design and can be throttled to a required duty point without by-passing.
