Direct Drive Mixers

Balance

MIXM Mixers are well balanced. Steels selected for shafts assure highest straightness factor and concentricity. Shaft diameter and length is chosen to assure optimum performance within critical speed limits. The center of gravity is located above clamp cup for ease in changing position of mixer or changing angle of shaft.

Wide Bearing Span

Wide bearing span permits use of a longer unsupported shaft without incurring vibration. In all models, direct drive and geared, output shaft is supported by double sealed ball bearings, the lower bearing being protected by an additional shaft seal.

Motor

NEMA standard, continuous duty, ball bearing motors. All enclosures, any current, voltage, etc.

Universal Clamp

The MIXM Universal Clamp design has long proved popular for its efficiency and simplicity. Tough manganese bronze. Wide seat and face. Ball and socket rotates 360° horizontally - 90° tilt. Lock releases instantly - locks instantly - will not loosen unless released.
