The Model PD765 Trident Meter is an all new Universal Panel Meter that handles all the common process display applications with simplicity, reliability, accuracy and ease. It is factory calibrated to accept process voltage and current inputs, 100 ohm platinum RTDs and the four most common thermocouples. Setup and programming is a jumper-free, single switch, snap using the simple four-button programming method or a computer. The Trident is available with a wide variety of NEMA 4 & 4X enclosures to help it withstand the harsh operating environment of an industrial plant. These enclosures are available in plastic, steel, and stainless steel and will house one, two, three, four, five or six meters. Meters are mounted in the enclosure door (or cover) so all programming and operational functions are available without opening the enclosure. Custom engraved ID labels can also be provided for each meter. Other Precision Digital meters may be mounted in the enclosures that house four, five or six meters.

Model PDA2801

Low-Cost NEMA 4X Enclosure

The PDA2801 is a low-cost, compact, NEMA 4X enclosure that will house one Trident meter. The cover is held in place with four screws. A hole is provided for a ½" conduit connection. A two-inch pipe mounting kit is available, Model PDA6845. The enclosure is not large enough to hold a serial communications adapter.

Plastic NEMA 4X Enclosures

These thermoplastic NEMA 4X enclosures will house one, two, four, five or six Trident meters and feature a hinged door that is secured with screws in two corners. The larger enclosures will also house other Precision Digital meters. Enclosures and meters are ordered as separate items.

NEMA 4 & 4X Steel & Stainless Steel Enclosures

These enclosures will house one, two, three, four, five or six Trident meters and feature a hinged door with screw-clamp closures. Models are available in steel and stainless steel. The larger enclosures will also house other Precision Digital meters. Enclosures and meters are ordered as separate items.

Sub-Panels for Mounting Serial Adapters in Enclosures

Sub-panels are available for most enclosures. The sub-panels mount to the base of the enclosure. This provides a convenient method to secure serial communications adapters or other components. Serial adapters may be mounted to the sub-panel using double-sided tape. Serial adapters can be mounted to the inner wall of the metal enclosures for 1-3 meters; clearance to mount adapters to a sub-panel is not sufficient in the smaller metal enclosures.

Custom Engraved Plastic Labels

Custom engraved labels as shown on the photographs above are available to identify individual meters; an overall enclosure label is also available for most of the enclosures. Labels are supplied with self-adhesive backing for easy mounting.

Stainless Steel Tags

Stainless steel tags may be ordered.
