 TPI Gas Leak Detection Equipment

The industry's best values in gas detection

Do your instruments detect propane and natural gas? Yes, all of our combustible gas detectors will detect propane, butane, natural gas as well as many other combustible gases.

What is the difference between the 720 and the HXG-2? The HXG-2 is sensitive to 10 ppm of combustible gas and has an adjustable alarm to be used with the heat exchanger test kit. The 720 is sensitive to 50 ppm of combustible gas and has no alarm.

Will your instruments include a case? The HXG-2 is supplied with a hard carrying case and the 720 is supplied with a soft pouch for protection.

Whether it’s combustion efficiency, carbon monoxide investigation or pinpointing the source of a gas leak, TPI has the right product for you. Each unit is complete and job-ready to begin testing with assurance.

Applications

Test flue gases and home or office spaces for the presence and location of a carbon monoxide leak with the 705. This instrument fits comfortably in your hand and operates with just the push of a button.

Easily operate the 720 with one hand to detect presence of combustible gases. Audible and visual indicators help pinpoint leak source. Adjustable “tic” rate helps eliminate background gas concentration in contaminated environments.

The small, lightweight HXG-2 is truly portable. High sensitivity helps pinpoint the smallest leak quickly and accurately. Calibrated alarm indicates dangerous concentration of combustible gases. Use with Hetkit and AGA approved protocol to test for cracked heat exchanges.

Use the 710 to test flue gases in furnaces and domestic boilers in order to determine safe operation efficiency. Real time/date documentation for future reference.

The 735 Combustible Plus® is “the best value in gas detection.” Easy operation with narrower grip diameter adds comfort. Use the 735 to inspect and investigate gas leak survey work in confined space, emergency applications and vessel testing.

Use a DMM and A701 to measure carbon monoxide (CO) in ambient air
• Use with any DMM with a minimum 3 1/2 digit LCD, 2 or 4 Volt DC range and 10M or greater input impedance.
• Detect CO levels to1999 ppm, with resolution as low as 0.1ppm and ±5% of reading.
• Low Battery Indication.
• Calibrate in the field.
Other models available:
• A702 has built in alarm.
• A711 has push button zero.

Heat Exchanger Test Kit
Combine the HXG-1 and the HETKIT® to test for cracks in residential furnace heat exchangers. Replaces CO analyzers as the best alternative to test heat exchanger integrity.

• More safe, advanced and reliable than smoke bomb, spray solution and odorant methods.
• The HETKIT® method is based on the Gas Research Institute Procedure #84/0162 developed by the American Gas Association.
• Low initial cost and low cost per test.
* HXG-1 or HETKIT® may NOT be used alone to complete test of heat exchangers.
