Process air heaters are used in heating air or other gases in ducts, autoclaves, or ovens for many industrial heat applications. Sheathed tubular, finned tubular, and finned strip elements consistently outperform gas, oil, and open coil electric units in both heating efficiency and safety. Elements are available separately for use in OEM equipment. Special materials and custom designs are available for marine applications, power plants, or hazardous applications.

 

Process Air Heaters and Duct Heaters are available in a wide variety of wattages, voltages and sizes to meet most applications. Process Air Heaters and Duct Heaters are available with thermostats, thermocouples or hi limit cutouts as called for by the process.

 

Process Air Heaters and Duct Heaters are made with Dust Resistant Housings (NEMA 12), Washdown NEMA 4 Stainless Steel Housing, or Explosion Resistant NEMA 7 Construction. The elements used could be finned or regular tubular elements to enhance heat transfer.

 

Process Air Heaters and Duct Heaters can be designed to fit in most ducts or could be made to order as required.

  • Hi Limits - Thermocouple braized to the sheath, Thermostat with reset braized to sheath
