Steering Column Switches
Originally designd for the tractor market, a wide selection of Universal Switches are now available. All the classical functions such as Indicators, Horn, Headlight Flash, Main and Dipped Beam are available, in a variety of combinations. A unique feature of our design is the availibility of momentary indicator systems offerd as part of our standard programme.
For those applications requiring a heavy duty shuttle lever, we offer our robust unit having a maximum loading of 1,000 N in all directions. The unit utilises reed switch technology making it the ideal partner for most modern vehicle electronics, and is protected to IEC 529 IP 67. As standard, either 3 or 4 positions are available, with a number of optional functions, such as centre lock. Clamps for both 38 and 45 mm diameter steering columns are offerd as standard, and connection is by means of either a cable with protective sleeving or optionally with fixed socket. A further option is a mini push button in the lever end.
