 The DRT 15-CE Turbidity Meter contains a rechargeable battery allowing up to 20 hours of continuous operation. Three measurement ranges are provided: 0-10 NTU, 0-100 NTU, and 0-1.000 NTU.
The instrument is built into a sturdy, splashproof and light ABS carrying case (2.3 kg).
Spare sample bottles and the NTU Reference Standard are conveniently stored in the case, along with the battery charger. Operation is simple. One switch turns the instrument on, checks battery condition, and sets the desired range. The other control on a keypad is used to adjust the reference value.
This Turbidity Meter is designed to suit the needs of the water industry. This instrument has been approved by US Environmental Protection Agency for daily measurement and reporting of turbidity in compliance with the Primary Drinking Water Regulations of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
The instrument also complies with "Standard Methods of the Examination of Water and Waste Water" (AWWA/APHA).
