 The Love Controls SC1290 and SCL1290 Loop Alarm accept inputs from most thermocouples. Relay outputs may be set for latching or non-latching. Alarms may be set for direct or reverse action, high or low function, and have normally open or normally closed contacts, thus providing a large number of combinations of output behavior.
Output behavior is easily programmable via switches. Among the choices the user may make is to cause the relay to energize or de-energize at the trip point, trip on an increasing or decreasing signal, and place the trip point above or below the dead band.
The SC1290 and SCL1290 Loop Alarm allow switch select ability of thermocouple types and up to 24 ranges.
Two LED indicators show if the input is within or out of limits. When the input is within set limits, both LEDs will be green. If the input reaches either trip point, high or low, the LED connected to that point will show red.
