GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The 8120 Weigh Frame for Checkweighing Systems provides the structure to move the product over the checkweigher.  The frame consists of the conveying medium (stainless steel, plastic, or micropitch chain), weightable with loadcell, motor and drive mechanism.

Because checkweighing is a dynamic or in-motion process, it is subject to vibrations which can interfere with the accuracy of the weighing process. These vibrations result from the motion of the drive motor and conveying media during normal operation. The 8120 Weigh Frame for Checkweighing Systems improved design prevents resonance of the weightable structure and provides optimum weighing accuracy. The stable base and extra rigid framework assures that there will be no movement within the weigh frame structure to amplify vibration.

OPTIONS

Conveying Media - The 8120 Weigh Frame for Checkweighing Systems is available with several different conveying media:

• 8120 Nylatron Chain - For lighter products, this light weight, low friction chain provides maximum accuracy without compromising durability.     
• 8120 Stainless Steel Chain - For heavier products and higher speeds where a more rugged and durable conveying media is required.     
• 8120 Micro-Pitch Chain - For products where high accuracy is required.          
• 8120 PWT - Powered belt for unstable products.
