We offer helical gearing, a method in which the gears are cut on angle to the face of the gear. This allows for more material contact, resulting in a greater degree of material customization and hydraulic range and a quieter running pump. So, whether your design calls for an external gear pump, pedestal mount, clutch driven, motor mount or stainless steel gear pump, you can rest assured that our family of gear pumps is as diverse as the applications in which they’ve been used – for more than 100 years.

GEARIRON™

G & H series pumps are positive displacement helical gear pumps offering the following unique features. Both are uni-directional, i.e. rotation must be specified when pump is ordered. The reason for this requirement is that the bearing are force lubricated from the pumps pressure side to reduce seal wear and increase seal life. Rotation change and part reversal can be achieved by rotation pump over 180 degrees.

C990M

Tailored specifically for wear resistance and long life in pressurized heat transfer oil circulation service for plastic injection molding and other industries. They are industrial units designed to handle fluctuating temperature cycles pumping Therminol®, Dowtherm® , Paratherm® and others at elevated temperatures to 450 ºF, at pressures up to 100 psi, and at shaft speeds to 1750 RPM. Shafts are hardened steel. Gears are high-strength durable Fatigue Proof® steel. Rugged ductile iron housings.

These pumps are bidirectional. The standard pump motor unit is set up for normal rotation (clockwise when viewing the pump from the shaft end). Reversing the motor rotation will reverse the "in" and "out" ports and also requires changing the relief valve location. C990RX2B1 is equipped with an integrated relief valve setup for internal bypassing. The relief valve must always be located on the discharge side of the pump. This relief valve is not intended to be a metering or flow control device.

They are designed to handle a wide range of fluids at temperatures to 400ºF, at pressures up to 150 psi, and at shaft speeds to 1750 RPM. Viscous liquids require reduced shaft speeds. Standard Lubricating Fluid Service: Shafting is 303 stainless steel, gearing is steel. Rugged ductile iron housings. High grade carbon-graphite bushing style bearings are used. The Standard Mechanical Shaft seal is a stainless cased.

The pumps are tailored specifically for wear resistance and long life in both lubricating C992T and non lubricating C992T-F service. They are designed to handle a wide range of fluids at temperatures to 200F. The operating pressure limit for thin fluids, i.e. 33 SSU, is 75 psi at 1725 RPM an 65 psi for viscous 200 SSU fluids based upon the 1.3 HP motor configuration. These external gear pumps require less maintenance than comparable internal gear pumps primarily due to the absence of cantilevered.

Designed to handle a wide range of water-based and synthetic machine tool coolants at moderate temperatures to 180º F and pressures up to 100 psi and at shaft speeds to 1750 RPM. Shafts are hardened steel and gears are 416 stainless steel. Rugged ductile iron housings incorporate body/gear lubrication grooves and utilize high grade carbon-graphite bearings. The shaft seal is a bellow style mechanical seal.
