Accu-Tab Commercial Swimming Pool Water Chlorination Systems
PPG scientists engineered the Accu-Tab® system to deliver not only consistent chlorine but also low maintenance and long-lasting performance.
Unlike other systems that wet the tablets before theyre needed, our patented chlorinator only moistens the portion of the tablet that comes into contact with water. The resultsconsistent chlorine delivery, no system clogging, and minimal cleaning. And because the only thing that moves in our chlorinator is the water itself, there are no parts to wear out, replace, or stock.
We fabricate each Accu-Tab chlorination system from corrosion-resistant PVC that is one-quarter-inch to one-half-inch thick. The PowerBase® models are also mounted on a lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum frame. You get long-lasting performance backed by a limited warranty on all Accu-Tab chlorinators.
With the Accu-Tab® system comes flexibility to handle virtually any application, size, and chlorine demand. The system is readily installed and also performs reliably in operations using automatic controllers.

Model 3075 For pools up to 560,000 gallons in capacity. Holds 75 pounds (35 kilograms) of Accu-Tab tablets.
Model 3150 For pools up to 1 million gallons in capacity. Holds 150 pounds (70 kilograms) of Accu-Tab tablets.
Model 3500 For pools up to 2.4 million gallons in capacity. Holds 500 pounds (227 kilograms) of Accu-Tab tablets.
PowerBase®System A true plug-and-play, this pre-packaged system includes the Accu-Tab chlorinator, pump, balance tank with float valve, flow meter, adjustment and check valves, brass solenoid for use with controllers, and electrical relay. The system requires only the piping in and out, a 110v power supply for the pump, and a 110v signal supply (such as from a chemical controller). The PowerBase system is available in four models.
PowerBase®AT System This is a more compact pre-packaged system that includes the same features as the PowerBase. This system is available in three models.
We offer a variety of installation options to best suit your particular needs. See our Tips section or contact us for more detailed information about which may be right for you.
Gravity Return The discharge of the chlorinator is dumped (returned) directly into a vacuum DE filter pit, vacuum sand filter pit, or a surge tank.
Suction Return The discharge of the chlorinator is piped directly into the suction line of the pool re-circulation pump. This may only be done when the re-circulation pump and filter are above the pool water level. (Note: Model 3500 cannot be installed in this manner as it cannot maintain a vacuum.)
Pressure Return The discharge of the chlorinator is collected in a small tank that has a float valve to keep the re-injection pump from losing prime. The discharge from the re-injection pump may be piped to either the re-circulation pump suction or the return line. The re-injection pump must have sufficient capability for the flow and pressure required.
