SUMP-GARD® vertical centrifugal pumps are available in lengths from 12 in. to 20 ft (.3 m to 6.1 m), and handle flows to 900 gpm (204 m3/hr), heads to 180 ft. (55 m) and temperatures to 275°F (135°C).
All fluid contact components are injection molded or fabricated of homogeneous polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) corrosion resistant thermoplastics that are chemically inert to the fluids they are specified to handle. The heavy-duty stainless steel shaft is completely isolated from the fluid by a thick-sectioned thermoplastic sleeve, eliminating metal contact with the pumped fluid.
Unlike metals (including stainless steel, Hastelloy® and other high alloys) that have annual corrosion rates, Vanton thermoplastics do not, allowing all liquids to be handled free of contamination, while maintaining the integrity of ultrapure liquids.
SUMP-GARD® vertical pumps are ideal for handling a broad range of corrosive, hazardous, toxic and otherwise aggressive fluids used throughout the processing and manufacturing industries, in utilities, and industrial and municipal water/wastewater treatment facilities virtually any acidic, caustic, hazardous or unknown mixtures of waste/effluent or combination of fluids across the entire pH spectrum collected in tanks and sump pits.
