Applications

Wherever you need absolutely leak free , corrosion resistant pump performance:-
  • Chemical plants
  • Pharmaceutical plants
  • Water and wastewater treatment plants
  • Electronics manufacturing
  • OEM’s

Our range offers the perfect pump for:

  • Acid and alkaline solutions
  • High purity water
  • Water treatment chemicals
  • Electroplating chemicals
  • Photographic chemicals
  • Electronics cooling

Absolutely Leak Free

  • Care to avoid leaks from secondary sources
  • Casing flange fasteners precision tightened
  • True Union Coupling for pump inlet and outlet
  • Hand tightened and uses an o’ring to avoid leaking from under or over compression

Proven Reliability and Durability

  • Twenty plus years of experience
  • Well over 80,000 units sold
  • Europe’s best selling magnetic drive pump
  • 100% of the units are performance tested

Exceptionally Quiet and Vibration Free

  • All components have precision tolerances
  • Designs (larger than BTMD10) are hydraulically balanced
  • Motors are precision balanced
  • Bearings operate on a thermally stable hydrodynamic film
  • Result is a pump that you can hardly hear when in operation!
  • Quietest pump in its class.

Benefits:

  • Quieter production area
  • Longer lasting pumps

Unsurpassed Quality

  • Every pump performance tested prior to shipment
  • Testing includes momentum reversal to simulate worst case field conditions
  • Every pump performance tested prior to shipment
  • Performance test covers ten points over the full curve
  • Testing includes momentum reversal to simulate worst case field conditions

Withstands Common Upset Conditions Run Dry

  • Ceramic bearings will tolerate run dry for short periods after the loss of flow
  • Teflon impregnated graphite bearings will tolerate slightly longer periods of run dry after loss of flow

De-Coupling

  • De-coupling can result in permanent loss of magnetic strength in the magnets
  • BTMD Series motors have a built in service factor of 1.25 to prevent decoupling caused by overloads

Thrust Reversal

  • Changes in conditions may cause sudden changes in thrust load
  • Uncontrolled thrust swings can cause internal damage and de-coupling
  • All BTMD Series pumps have thrust bearings to control thrust at all times
