Mica band heaters come in one or two-piece construction for easy installation and removal. Stainless steel braids and conduit protect terminations and resist contamination.

Rugged construction along with high temperature and high watt density capabilities allow HCS band heaters to surpass all other band heaters in providing the ever increasing temperatures required for processing today's high tech materials. The advanced design and thin profile allow the quick transfer of heat from the element to the sheath for efficient operation to 1400ºF sheath temperature. Watt densities as high as 200 watts per square inch on small diameters and 100 watts per square inch on larger diameters are possible. The HCS band heaters can stand up to shock, vibration and many contaminants long after standard band heaters have failed. In normal use, or in the most difficult application, mica band heaters will improve machine productivity by improving band heater performance.

Mica band heaters and mineral insulated band heaters are available in various sizes, voltages, wattage's, and constructions to suit every application.

  • Mica band heaters are used for temperatures to 900ºF.

  • The mineral insulated band heaters are used for temperatures to 1400ºF.

  • Mica band heaters and mineral insulated band heaters can be internally or externally heated, full or split case for easy removal or installation and supplied with various types of leads.
