requirements of ANSI/ASME B30.20 for below-the-hook
lifting devices.
Each lifter is inspected for conformance
to specifications and workmanship and then load
tested at a minimum of 125% of rated capacity.
After testing, the lifter is re-inspected for
any defects resulting from the load test. All
inspection records are signed and placed in
the permanent job file and a proof test certificate
is issued.
