HAUG Tristat TR 25 / Triode:

The new Tristat TR 25 charging generator is a high-voltage generator which was specially developed for the supply of  HAUG charging triodes.
This unit can be used to apply electrostatic charges without
physical contact, e.g. for fixing, positioning and "electrostatic adhesion" to non-conductive or semi-conductive materials.

The particular characteristics of the Tristat TR 25 lie in its clock
capability and very stable output voltage. This ensures a high
current, even at low output voltage, and permits installation
close to the material.

Particular characteristics and advantages:

Homogenous electric field, uniform Corona discharge
No spark-over to the counter electrode or earthed materials
Installation at only 10 mm distance from the material
Good locating results with relatively low output voltage
High static charge with great current strength
Possible pulse operation
Co-axial DC contact technology, suitable for connecting the
HAUG systems with X-2000 DC screened safety high voltage
cables (within the meaning of EMC guideline)
Easy replacement by a magnetic clamp of simple design when
   the point is worn.
