If you’re measuring temperature in the –20°C to 130°C range in the field or around the plant, you’ll love the Model 5504 Eutechnics Digital Thermistor Meter.

Any YSI Series 400 thermistor probe plugs into the 1/4-inch phone jack, and total system error is less than ±0.215°C at 0°C. With the 5674 probe, your system error is less than ±0.07°C at 0°C. Resolution is 0.01°C for monitoring small temperature changes.

Several temperature functions such as HOLD, MIN/MAX, STORE and DELTA T can be assigned to two of the four function keys on the front panel. You can then switch back and forth between the two selected functions with just a touch of the button.

The Model 5504 is powered by a 9V battery for complete portability and a power adapter for use in the lab. There’s an auto shutoff to conserve power and a low battery warning.

When this thermistor meter is connected to a PC, it acts as a data logger. When using the meter with your computer, there’s optional software for setting up instrument parameters on the computer.

The Eutechnics Digital Thermistor Meter is traceable to NIST. An optional system certificate is available with our three-point certification.
