Each
F series transmitter consists of a base plate and a measurement module
(electronics, probe and sensors). The transmitters are calibrated
at our factory and are shipped in an individual box for protection
during shipment or storage.
Installation
is a simple 2-step process:

Step
1
The base plate is mounted and wired (a standard electrical box
may be used in the case of a wall installation). Since the measurement
module is not required during this part of the installation,
it can be safely stored until all the work is completed.

Step
2
Upon completion of the wiring work, the module is just snapped
into the base plate and secured with the screws provided. Any
module can be
installed with any base plate, no special matching is required.
When it is time to re-certify calibration or if a repair
is required, simply replace the module.
Rehabilitated, fully calibrated and certified replacement modules
are available from RIC.
