Available in five metal alloys (Die-Cast Aluminum, Cast iron, 316 Stainless Steel, plus combinations of these metals which meet a wide variety of Industrial ratings including EXPLOSION PROOF and NEMA 2, 4, 4x, 6, 7, 9,13) equivalent IEC versions are standard.

Two plastic configurations are also available including a white FDA compliant Polypropylene head for the FOOD industries. Integrally mounted 4- 20 mA Thermocouple and RTD temperature transmitters are optionally available in all heads. 

There is a wide choice of Terminal Blocks for both single and duplex sensors. Private LABELING is also available.

Destructive Aggregate Abrasion Thermocouples
Are typically used to measure the Temperature of severly abrasive materials such as those found in Asphalt and other material mixing and drying processes.

Three styles of “HARDENED TIP” (flame sprayed Tungsten Carbide, hardened tool steel Carbide tipped and small diameter bullet nosed heavy walled Carbide tipped) construction assemblies are available which are designed to resist and minimize the destructive abrasive wear of free flowing materials.
