Description

The CD379 Portable Digital Transducer
Indicator is completely self-contained. In addition to the front
panel liquid crystal display, the unit also provides a +/-2 Vdc
analog output suitable for recording, computer interface or control.
The CD379 Portable Digital Transducer
Indicator is ideal for use with all Validyne variable reluctance
pressure transducers and features 3-1/2 digit LCD display powered
by six 1.5 V batteries for truly portable operation. The CD379
can also be powered from an external DC power supply or an AC
battery eliminator.
The CD379 Portable Digital Transducer
Indicator supplies the variable reluctance sensor with all required
excitation and demodulation. Front panel zero and span adjustments
allow easy calibration. The display provides a full-scale reading
of up to 1999, with the decimal point position selectable by internal
jumper. The +/- 2V analog output is available from a jack on the
rear panel. Optional configurations include 2-wire 4-20 mA currentl
loop output (current sink). A square-root output version is also
available., as are universal brackets for panel mountings.
