Polymer
Test's MIWORKS software acts as a powerful Melt Index test database,
storing an endless number of test results from which users can compare
and contrast previous melt flow tests. Bi-directional communications
capabilities enables MIWORKS to be programmed and operated through
a personal computer. Methods A, B, A/B conversion and flow ratio tests
can be performed, all to ASTMD1238 and international specifications.
The software downloads test parameters directly to the Melt Indexer
so users may easily create control charts and export data to spreadsheets.
Polymer
Test’s MIWORKS operates in the Windows '95 environment on personal
computers. The software comes standard with all Polymer Test LMI4000
Melt Indexer. Other models can be upgraded to LMI4004 to work with
the software. Up to eight model D4004 Melt Indexers can be connected
to a single personal computer. MIWORKS built-in diagnostic section
verifies communication and permits users to view parameters and conditions
of active tests.
MIWORKS
makes it easy to analyze previous test results and identify trends
in a material’s melt flow characteristics.
