Calibration
Cylinders Applications
- To calibrate the flow rate
of chemical metering pumps and chemical injection systems
- To periodically monitor
the performance and accuracy of a chemical injection system
- To insert accurate dosages
of chemical into batch processes
Calibration Cylinders
Features
- Dual Scale:
- - 1. Total gauge volume
in millimeters
- - 2. Gallons per hour scale
for a one minute test of calibration to determine flow rate
- Models with threaded NPT
connections on both ends and models with removable slip
on caps available
- Mylar laminated scales
are protected form attack bu harsh chemicals
- Rugged construction using
transparent PVC pipe and industrial grade PVC fittings
- Special sizes available
upon request
- Other materials also available
Installation
And Operating Instructions for Calibration Cylinders
- 1. To test the pump rate
of the chemical pump, open valve B and fill the gauge to
the top division mark.
- 2. When the fluid level
reaches the top mark, close valve A and at the same time,
begin timing the test.
- 3. After one minute, observe
the level of fluid in the column.
- 4. The change in level after
one minute is the actual pump rate of the chemical pump.
- 5. When the gauge is not
in use, valve B must be closed.
- 6. Valve A must remain open
at all times except when the user is testing the pump rate.
