Contromatics Chlorine Service Ball Valves

Threaded End Chlorine Service Ball Valves, Sizes 1/4" - 2" Contromatics CL-7200 is specifically designed, built, and tested to conform to the latest edition of Chlorine Institute Pamphlet #6, which covers recommendations for valves and piping in dry chlorine systems. "Dry" chlorine is defined as chlorine gas or liquid that contains less than 150 ppm of water. Greater amounts of water form hydrochloric acid in concentrations high enough to cause severe corrosion. If water content is questionable, it is recommended that Hastelloy trim be used. Consider the standard safety features: seal-welded "unibody" construction, "V" Ring stem packing; two bolt packing adjustmentcleaning to Chlorine Institute standards; ANSI 900 wall thicknesses and oversize stem diameters all combine to make the Contromatics CL-7200 the only, safe choice for your chorine applications. Also included is a 4-bolt actuator mounting pad and internal body seal to prevent CL2 or HCL corrosion to body/adapter threads and weld. Because the CL-7200 series employs a standard "vented" Monel ball, these products are unidirectional and are so marked with a cast flow direction arrow.
