piece firesafe ball valve offers state-of-the-art

A high-performance workhorse, this valve
is a total, reliable package that handles
the demands of firesafe applications in
high-production cnvironments like petrochernical
facilities.
In addition; our valves meet the challenges
presented by today's more demanding safety
regulations, including API (607 4th Edition,
a fire test for soft-seated valves that
measures a (closed) ball valve's ability
to retard fire propagation both externally
and downstream.
The Contromatics 3400/8400-607 series
valves inhibit and control fires fueled
by volatile liquids with special features
including a TFE-coated stainless steel
"S" gasket.
Even in a fire, the gasket "S"
shape maintains the valve's body/adapter
seal, due to the resistance to permanent
deformation.
Another feature is our frrelip, a raised
edge machined into the valve body adapters,which
supports and protects seats under normal
conditions.
In a fire, our metal firelip prevents
seat material from being trapped between
the ball seating area and the metal secondary
firelip. The 607 series ball valves are
manufactured in a silicone free environment. |
