The
standard Red Valve Pinch Valve Sleeve is a very
specialized component, and great care is taken to
match the customer's needs with the type of rubber
used, pressure rating and other pertinent data necessary
to provide a product that will give a long, maintenance-free
service life. It's 100% full-port, and is like a
pipe in-line. The flow remains streamlined when
throttling.
Double
Wall Sleeves are called for in extremely abrasive
applications, and also high-pressure applications.
A double-wall sleeve provides 3-times the wear thickness
of a standard sleeve. NOTE: The port of a
double wall sleeve is one line size smaller than
its corresponding flange size.
Cone
Sleeves patented by Red Valve are designed for control
applications. Cone sleeves provide tighter control
with a 20:1 turndown ratio and 0.89 recovery factor,
along with an extra thickness of elastomer downstream
for wear resistance.
Reduced
Port Sleeves were the precursor to the Cone sleeve,
providing a built-in reduction, but no additional
rubber for increased wear resistance. The
Reduced Port has been replaced by the superior Cone
Sleeve.
Variable
Orifice Sleeves patented by Red Valve are designed
for high-turndown control applications. Variable
Orifice sleeves provide a 29:1 turndown ratio
and a special design that helps to eliminate cavitation.
