Strip Heaters Features:• Rugged construction • Various thicknesses dependent on heater style • Mica, ceramic or MGO filled insulation • Higher watt densities and temperatures HD • Zinc steel or stainless steel design possible • Wide variety of terminations available • Wide variety of sizes and options (holes, notches or cutouts) Strip Heaters are available in a number of constructions depending on the material to be heated aczd the application. Sheath temperatures are typically 700 to 1400 deg F depending on construction, watt density Sheath material and type of insulation used. Mineral insulated heaters have the highest temperature rating in Stainless steel construction and attain a temperature of 1400 degrees F. Mica heaters are made of zinc steel upto 900 degrees and stainless steel upto 1200 degrees. Mica heaters can be made with holes notches and cutouts. The HD Strip Heaters, constructed with a coiled nichrome wire, and then tightly compacting it with MGO gives us a solid rigid heater that is enclosed in aluminized steel for 1100 degrees F or Stainless steel for 1200 degrees F surface temp. Ceramic Channel heaters have nichrome wire supported on a ceramic core and then tightly compacted in a seamless stainless steel sheath. All strip Heaters are available with various terminations to suit individual applications. Specifications: Voltage. . . . . . . . . .
