Measurement Relays

A high level of equipment availability plays a crucial role in efficiency. All machine facilities should be fitted with rapid-response measuring and monitoring devices that continuously review and evaluate all electrical and physical states. This facilitates a quick and accurate response in the event of an error, for example proactive switch-off of the affected part of the system before the damage spreads to other unit components.
The Schleicher range of measurement and monitoring relays includes devices for all potential configurations.

Safety Relays

The EU Machinery Directive stipulates that machinery must not pose any danger. This requires safety concepts that ensure maximum protection for humans and machines on a variety of levels. Safety relays must therefore be easy to use and give a reliable response. Schleicher safety relays meet the safety standards of DIN ISO 13849 and
DIN EN 61062, and fulfil the technical requirements for relay technology with positively-driven contacts in accordance with EN 50205.

Timer and Switching Devices

Timer and switching devices are tried and tested as intermediaries between the intelligent logic level – e.g. a control device or other computer system – and the high-performance machines that they control. They create an information interface, which includes electrical isolation between the low-voltage range in which the logic works, and the machine operation, which has high electrical power consumption.
