The newest version of the Dynisco Polymer Test Advanced Rheology Software (KARS) for Windows!" is designed for use with the Dynisco Polymer Test LCR Series capillary rheometers and offers an extremely powerful and easy-to-use format for analyzing polymer data.

KARS for Windows features PC machine control and test set-up as well as graphical real-time data acquisition. The analysis module has extensive database storage and interrogation capabilities. Interactive curve fitting and graphics speeds data reduction.

Calculation of the IV correlation of PET, a critical parameter for quality control, is automatic when a standard shear rate vs. viscosity test of the material is performed on the capillary rheometer. In addition, a SQC mode adds a powerful quality control tool to the package.

KARS software is used on the popular Dynisco Polymer Test LCR6000 Series rheometer. Versatile and easy to use, the LCR offers sophisticated material characterizations, data analysis and reporting capabilities. It incorporates unique algorithms to allow automatic determination of polymer melt stability. Advanced electronics enable up to 45 shear rate points to be obtained during each test, and bi-directional communications enable test parameters to be downloaded from a personal computer.
