PAPERLESS
RECORDER The LOGOSCREEN is a new generation of recorders
featuring a large bright backlit LCD screen to display data.
This permits data to be displayed in the most meaningful way
for the application. A touch of a key can change the display
format from numerical to bar graph to vertical or horizontal
traces. LOGOSCREEN can accept up to 36 inputs that can be displayed
in groups of 6 so the data remains readable and the operator
does not have to wade through overlapping traces. For applications
requiring a sampling up to 125 msec over all channels, for temperature
measurement with thermocouples in the higher ranges, and for
resistance thermometers in 4-wire circuit there is the analogue
input cart Type I with 6 channels. Isolation between the channels
is provided by optocoupler with a test voltage of 500 V. Before
these optocouplers each channel has an application specific
circuit for digitisation. Analogue input card Type II with 8
channels provides isolation (60 V test voltage) by switching
through semiconductor multiplexer on to a voltage/frequency
converter. This card is suitable for normal applications with
standard signals, thermocouples and resistance thermometers.
The sampling rate is 1 second over all channels. The screen
recorder is operated with eight keys. Three of these keys have
fixed functions while the function of the others are text dependent
(soft keys).
