Digital Temperature Controllers

The iTron Digital Temperature Controllers family is very well suited for any application requiring reliable and accurate temperature control. The plug on terminal strip permits rapid replacement without involving any wiring changes. The controller has a large 10mm or 20mm numerical display for process value.

iTron Digital Temperature Controllers can be programmed as either a single or double set point controller. When used as a double set point controller it can be used to control two independent heating and cooling loops. Both loops in this case have PID feedback.

The instrument has two relay outputs or one relay and a logic output to control a solid state relay on the 1/32nd DIN model. One output can be configured as an alarm in eight different ways. Resistance thermometers, thermocouples, mA or voltage inputs can be directly accepted. A logic input controls standard ramp and key inhibit features.

Self optimization ensures automatic adjustment of the controller parameters to the process. The ramp function permits a controlled approach to the set point.

The standard supply voltage is 93 to 263 V AC. 1/32nd DIN (24mm x 48mm), 1/16th DIN (48mm x 48mm), 1/8th DIN horizontal or vertical (48mm x 96mm) and 1/4 DIN (96mm x 96mm) models are available.
