control panels by using a stainless steel vortex
tube to create cold air from ordinary compressed
air.

the our Frigid-X™ Cabinet Panel Coolers
and Cabinet Enclosure Coolers are stainless steel, not
just the vortex tube for longer life and flexible use.
Frigid-X™ Cabinet Panel Coolers and Cabinet
Enclosure Coolers are compact and can be installed in
minutes through a standard electrical knockout. There
are virtually no moving parts.

Warning Sticker free with every Frigid-X™
Panel Cooler purchased for the air conditioning
of electrical and electronic control panels. High
temperature inside a control panel can be damaging
to internal equipment and lead to unplanned shutdown
of factory operations. The label provides for
an effective warning with a color change indicator
to ORANGE and a danger warning with a color change
indicator to RED. Color change is reversible so
when the temperature problem is corrected, the
label can continue to be used indefinitely. While
it is a qualitative measurement only, it provides
an ideal cautionary monitoring of possible temperature
problems within a control panel. Extra High Temperature
Warning Sticker’s can be purchased.

all external exposed surfaces are of 316L and ideal
for pharmaceutical industry and extreme corrosive
environments where 303/304 stainless steel is not
adequate. As with the NEMA Type 4-4x units, the cooler
is splash resistant, for use in wash down environments

Frigid-X™
Cabinet Panel Coolers and Cabinet Enclosure Coolers -
Operation:
Filtered, compressed air enters the cabinet
enclosure cooler and through the vortex tube component.
The air is split into two streams, one hot and one cold.
The muffled hot air from the vortex tube
is expelled through the top of the air conditioner. The
cold air is directed into the enclosure through the cold
air distribution hose. Hot air inside the enclosure rises
and exits to atmosphere via the air exhaust at a slight
positive pressure. The enclosure is both purged and cooled
with clean air. No outside air enters the enclosure.

Our Side Mounts For Tight Spaces
 Cabinet
Cooling Solutions With Frigid-X™ Cabinet Panel
Coolers are normally mounted on the top of the enclosure
but if space does not permit, you can use our Side Mount
Kit. Made of stainless steel for NEMA Type 12 (IP52),
NEMA Type 3R (IP14) and NEMA Type 4-4X (IP56) environments,
they are designed for use with all Nex Flow™ Cabinet
Cooling Solutions With Frigid-X™ Cabinet Panel
Coolers. Two sizes are available, one for coolers 85CFM
and under capacity and the other forlarger sizes. Slim
design to minimize space even when mounted on the side
of a panel.
Easy mount Side Mount Kit is available
for smal and medium size panel coolers to allow mounting
to the side of an enclosure if space prevents top mounting.
It is a "plug and play" system.
