This
new rheometer allows simultaneous testing of a low and
high shear rate, making it ideal for use with elastomeric
materials, for fiber polymer related applications, or
where elongation related issues must be studied. By placing
a short L/D die in one bore and a long L/D die in the
other bore, Bagley corrections and elongation data can
be acquired in one test run.
LCR
7002 employs a powerful 32-bit microprocessor that allows
unique features such as digital recognition of sensors
and highly accurate temperature control up to 430C. The
new rheometers 20,000 to 1 dynamic speed range means
greater speed accuracy and a drive system that is nearly
three times as efficient as similar models range.
When
combined with the companys KARS
LAB data processing software package, the LCR 7002
becomes an extremely powerful rheological test and analysis
system. Integrated with Microsoft Excelä , KARS LAB provides
a familiar data analysis platform full of standard workbooks
for detailed analysis like non-linear curve fitting Rabinowitsch
and Bagley corrections, and SQC analysis. Standard graphs
of viscosity vs. shear rate, viscosity vs. shear stress
and thermal degradation vs. time are easily performed.
