The Filtration System

Filter Innovations Liquid Filter System consists of three basic components: a micron rated filter bag, a restrainer basket and a filter vessel. These components add up to a simple, efficient and versatile liquid filtration system.

Any liquid flow that requires the removal of solids can be economically achieved using Filter Innovations snap ring filter bag. The product to be filtered passes through a micron rated media leaving the solids trapped within the bag for simple and quick disposal. The filter media is extremely durable, can maintain high flow rates and is available in various felts with micron ratings of 1-200, as well as mesh material with micron ratings from 10-800 microns.

Incorporated into the filter vessel, is a simple opening system which allows for the quick change of filter bags so that there is minimum downtime. These filter housings are designed to withstand pressures up to 300 psi.

All Filter Innovations filter bags are made of various natural and synthetic fibers including rayon viscose, nylon, polyester, polypropylene, nomex and wool. The choice of filter bag is determined by the product, the chemical conditions, and the temperature involved in the filtration operation. Reference to appropriate compatibility tables will govern the choice of fiber since the filter bags are as resistant as the fiber from which they are constructed. In addition to felt filter bags, monofilament mesh and multifilament mesh bags are also available.

Filter bags, in a variety of sizes, are adaptable for use in all our pressure vessel filter systems and, coupled with an adapter head, may also be utilized in a open gravity flow filter system.
