Design and Implementation
Filter Innovations offers a total application solution approach in which we analyze your waste stream, determine feasibility, pilot-test your stream, and then design and manufacture a full-scale system. We provide complete service and technical support from design concept through the life of your project, including installation, training, and maintenance contracts.
Filter Innovations takes a system approach to every project, meaning we not only optimize all system components for the intended application, but we integrate them into a single unit that operates efficiently.
Filter Innovations ultrafiltration systems are designed to handle flow rates from 50 gallons per day to thousands of gallons per day.
Filter Innovations stands firmly behind every system we supply, with full service and technical support.
Feasibility And Pilot Systems
After initial feasibility test on wastewater samples, a pilot-scale system may be used to evaluate key process conditions and to establish operating parameters. Pilots are usually located at the customer site to be fully exposed to the actual waste stream and environment.
Variable Waste Streams
In some applications, changes in process influent, manufacturing conditions, weather conditions, or other factors may ultimately affect the waste treatment process. - has experience dealing with day to day variations in plant operation for applications where waste streams fluctuate. In fact, such applications are particularly well served by our extensive line of standard products, ranging from readily available off-the-shelf modules to "in-development" products that may be close tom commercialization.
A Systems Approach To Process Optimization
Filter Innovations takes a system approach to every project, meaning we not only optimize all system components for the intended application, but we integrate them into a single unit that operates efficiently. Each system is designed and manufactured around Filter Innovations membrane modules, so every element of the installed system is matched to your process. Because Koch maintains total control over manufacturing, our systems provide maximum efficiency and reliability for each customer.
Reverse Osmosis Systems
Our many years of supplying industrial filtration systems includes substantial experience in reverse osmosis, used in selected applications in conjunction with ultrafiltration, as part of the overall treatment process. We will work closely with customers to provide a complete solution to treating their specific stream, and offer full capabilities in state of the art reverse osmosis systems when necessary.
Conunercial UF systems are available to treat any amount of oily wastewater, not matter how small or large. In the Commonwealth of Kentucky, there are installed systems as small as 50 gallons per day, ‑and others exceeding 50 gallons per minute of processing capacity.
Most ultrafiltraiton system suppliers have readily available demonstration equipment for use in the plant, at or near the wastewater source. Many companies offer testing and/or demonstration at their own facility if It is not practical to conduct such work on site. For additional information, contact Koch Membrane Systems
