Activated
Carbon Filter Cartridges
ACTIVATED
CARBON cartridges remove chlorine, color and odors caused by dissolved
organics, and turbidity from aqueous and organic liquids. All
materials are constructed of FDA listed materials for food contact
and may be used for drinking water and potable liquids. The easy-to-change
disposable cartridge contains about 33 cubic inches of premium
grade granular activated carbon. The activated carbon adsorbs
dissolved organics, and removes chlorine. An integral 5mm prefilter
removes various particulates to eliminate premature clogging of
the carbon bed, while a 5mm post-filter removes carbon fines that
may shed from the bed.
Betafine XL
Polypropylene Filter Cartridges
Betafine
XL filters, constructed of 100% polypropylene, provide excellent
chemical and thermal compatibility. The filter media is constructed
from continuous micro-fibers that are precisely controlled to
provide a uniform matrix and consistent effluent quality. Betafine
XL filter incorporates a polypropylene support upstream and downstream
of the media to provide optimum flow characteristics and long
service life. The all-polypropylene cartridge components are thermally
bonded no resin or binder compounds are used. All materials
used in the manufacture of Betafine XL filters are CFR 21 listed
for direct food contact. Available in 9 distinct micron ratings
and integral lengths from 9 3/4 to 40 inches with a wide selection
of end treatments to fit common filter housing designs, Betafine
XL cartridges are ideal for a wide variety of applications.
Betapure
Rigid Filter Media Cartridges and Capsules
Betapure
filters, available in 18 distinct grades with absolute ratings
from 2 to 190 microns to tailor the exact selection of performance
characteristics for the greatest filtration economy by providing
distinct removal cut-off points by particle size. Proprietary
Betapure filter manufacturing combines advanced incoming material
quality assurance, exacting in-process controls, and extensive
final product testing and verification. The result is a filter
product that provides consistent filtration lot-to-lot, filter-to-filter.
Beta-Klean
Absolute Rated Rigid Structure Filter Cartridge
Beta-Klean
is a rigid, graded-density filter cartridge constructed primarily
of acrylic fibers, cellulose fibers, and a tough chemically resistant
thermosetting resin. The proprietary manufacturing process results
in more fibers towards the center core region creating a graded-density
structure. The thermosetting resin bonds the fibers
into a permanent rigid matrix. Beta-Klean cartridges are grooved
to significantly increase the surface area and extend the service
life. Beta-Klean is manufactured and tested to deliver quality,
consistency, and absolute cost effective filtration performance.
Cunos in-process quality assurance provides the control
that results in consistent cartridges with defined absolute ratings
time-after-time-after-time.
CTG-Klean
System
The
3M Cuno CTG-Klean System is a totally enclosed filtration system
that uses a separate pressure vessel and disposable filter pack
to isolate the product to be filtered from the housing. This exclusive
design eliminates the extensive time and labor involved with filter
change-outs and cleaning of conventional housings. Environmental
concerns and operator exposure to product cleaning solvents are
substantially reduced. The streamlined system, coupled with high
performance, long-life filters, make CTG-Klean systems the clear
choice for safe, environment friendly, cost effective filtration.
Micro-Klean
III
3M
Cuno Micro-Klean III filter cartridges are the product of continuous
refinement of manufacturing and fiber technologies. Available
in both grooved and ungrooved versions, Micro-Klean III filters
are ideal for a wide variety of applications. The grooving of
the outer surface significantly increases the filters effective
surface area, and increases the contaminant holding capacity.
The ungrooved version of the Micro-Klean III is excellent for
the removal of gels and other deformable contaminants. To ensure
compatibility with a wide range of process fluids, Micro-Klean
III is available in different combinations of fiber type and resin.
Petro-Klean
Cartridge Filter Systems
The
Industry Standard for Oil & Gas Systems: Petro-Klean cartridges
are easy to use filters manufactured from cellulose fibers, glass
fibers, and a chemically resistant thermosetting resin to produce
a durable, rigid filter structure. Standard Petro-Klean cartridges
are grooved to significantly increase the surface area and extend
service life in fluid filtration applications. Both grooved and
smooth-surface Petro-Klean filters are available with absolute
ratings from 10 to 60 microns. Cartridge configurations include
standard industrial 2 5/8 OD, 336 style 3 OD, PG style
4 ½ OD, and the PR internal o-ring style, in lengths
from from 9 ¾ to 72 with a wide range of end-treatments
to ensure that Petro-Klean filter cartridges can easily retrofit
installed filter housings. Standard diameter industrial Petro-Klean
products include patented polyethylene foam gaskets for positive
sealing in double open end housings. CUNO offers cartridges in
the single open end style that employ integral polypropylene caps
and springs to eliminate separate spring and seal assemblies.
PolyNet
Filter Cartridges
CUNO
designed the PolyNet cartridge to provide significantly superior
service life while maintaining a consistent filtration efficiency.
PolyNet filters achieve this through an innovative cartridge design
that allows uniform distribution of fluid flow and contaminant
throughout the entire depth of the cartridge. PolyNet filter construction
combines a unique polypropylene media with fluid distribution
netting to form multiple layers. Critically positioned media flow
channels allow greater movement of fluid from layer to layer.
Three distinct media sections, made from multiple media/netting
layers, are combined to form the filter cartridge. The outer and
middle sections contain multiple layers of interleaved filter
media and fluid distribution netting. Within each media layer
a portion of the fluid travels through the media while the balance
of the fluid is delivered directly to the next distribution layer
through the flow channels. The fluid distribution netting provides
longitudinal and latitudinal flow paths to evenly distribute fluid
flow across the surface of each successive media layer.
