Profile
programs
99 profile programs can be input, stored and modified at any time. They
are built up from process steps, chamber temperature, core temperature,
humidity and various cooking processes. Each profile program can consist
of up to 99 segments. A total of 2600 segments (for all profile programs
combined) can be stored.
Segments
A segment consists of one process step, four setpoints, segment time
and operating functions. Various step-on conditions determine the segment
change. Segments can be altered about 2500 times.
Process steps
Process steps can be preset with various equipment states for smoking,
cooking, drying and curing. The user then need only select the process
and input setpoints for it.
Cooking process
The process can be controlled by time, delta cooking, core temperature,
F-value or C-value.
Communication
The Process Smoke House LPF Programmable Controllers communicate over
an EchelonŽ LONŽ network. This readily allows additional functional
modules to be functionally connected to add analogue inputs and outputs,
relays, control and logic functions and modem communication. It also
provides the possibility to connect the LPF family to other manufacturers
instrumentation which uses this networking protocol.
Software
PC based setup and profile editing programs are available as well as
a DDE server to provide data interchange with other windows programs.
