The hydrostatic level measurement transmitters are a low-cost process for direct mounting or use with remote seals on tanks or containers. The P300 and DSIII gauge pressure transmitters are suitable for measurements on open containers; for closed containers, it is preferable to use the differential pressure transmitters of the DS III series. The low-cost alternative for non-corrosive liquids such as water/waste water is the SITRANS P MPS submersible sensor.
Siemens offers a comprehensive product portfolio for hydrostatic level transmitters. Whether by direct measurement or remote seals, whether on open or closed containers, you will find the best solution for your requirements with our SITRANS P pressure/differential pressure transmitter. These devices are extremely resistant to chemical and mechanical loads as well as electromagnetic interference. They are commonly used in the chemical and petrochemical industries.
Even the standard devices offer comprehensive diagnostics and simulation functions with high reliability. The suitability for use in SIL2 circuits has been certified by external test institutes.
With Profibus transmitters, the new PROFISAFE technology guarantees uniform safety from the control system down to the transmitter.
Its stainless steel housing with laser-printed nameplate, together with a wide range of hygienic process connections, mean that it is highly suitable for use in the food & beverages industry as well as for pharmaceutical processes.

Continuous Hydrostatic Level Transmitters From Siemens
Hydrostatic level measurement transmitters.
The SITRANS P DSIII series includes digital pressure transmitters for measuring gauge pressure, absolute pressure, differential pressure, flow and level.
The SITRANS P 300 offers the measuring precision and ruggedness already known from the SITRANS P DSIII.
The SITRANS P MPS series pressure transmitter converts the level-proportional hydrostatic pressure into a standardized signal 4 to 20 mA. The transmitter consists of a stainless steel housing (Ø 27 mm) with mechanical protection IP 68, a piezzo-resistive sensor with stainless steel diaphragm and F 8.3 mm 2-wire sheathed cable with a built-in 2 air vents and a Kevlar cord vital for longer cable support.
