The Endevco Model 2690-XXX-YYY Series of low pass input
filters is designed to change the frequency response of
measurement systems utilizing a piezoelectric transducer
and a charge amplifier. The input filter connects between
the transducer and charge amplifier and the filter should
be located near the charge amplifier.
The frequency response of the input filter is a function
of external source capacitance consisting of transducer
and cable capacitances and therefore each filter is designed
for a specific value of source capacitance. With the specified
value of source capacitance, they typical frequency response
will be a two pole Butterworth response.
The -XXX describes the upper cutoff frequency (-5% point).
For example, a -101 is a filter which is flat to 100 Hz,
a -501 is a filter which is flat to 500 Hz.
The -YYY describes the source capacitance, (C). For example,
a -101 is a filter designed for 100 pF source capacitance,
a -502 is a filter designed for 5000 pF source capacitance.
Features:
• For use with PE transducers and charge amplifiers
• Small size, light weight
• Rugged construction
• Two pole low pass filter
