cannot be installed into a tank fitting or
- when heater removal without
draining the tank is vital
- these heaters are lowered
into the liquid from the top
- can have very long vertical
risers for power connections to be made at the
top of the tank, heaters with a 45 foot vertical risers have
been installed
- there is no heat generated
in the vertical riser
- general purpose terminal enclosure
(NEMA 1), weather resistant terminal enclosure (NEMA 4), and
hazardous location terminal enclosure (NEMA 7), available
- thermocouples, thermostats,
and high limit controls can be built-in
