Our main concern is to offer a simple, efficient and versatile system minimizing downtime in the process operation.

In our evaluation two categories are given major consideration. These are choice of filtration media and open versus pressure filtration.

There are basically 3 types of media for filter bag construction.

FELT - micron rated felt is a depth filtration media which provides three dimensional filtrations. This results in a much higher solids loading capacity over the equivalent area of mesh fabric. Felt is generally used where product retention of 1-100 microns is required. Felt is produced by the needling of fibers into a supporting scrim.

MONOFILAMENT MESH – mesh material provides surface filtration only. Monofilament mesh is a high strength, cleanable, woven material maintaining consistent pore size. Each strand consists of a single thread. It is available in micron ratings of 10 to 800.

MULTIFILAMENT MESH – mesh material provides surface filtration only. Multifilament mesh is a low cost, disposable woven material. Each strand consists fo many smaller threads twisted together for strength. It is available in micron ratings of 100 to 800.

Specialty Bags

Multi-Layer Bags are manufactured with two or three layers of felt or mesh material of selected micron rating. These bags provide greater depth filtration. They are exceptionally successful in filtering viscous or gelatinous products.

Oil Removal Bags are designed to remove trace oils or greases from paints, coatings and other industrial streams while allowing flow rates and longevity comparablle to traditional filter bag filtrations.

Sub Micronal Bags are micron rated filter bags that are capable of removing submicronal particles from liquid streams
