Helical Gear Mixer N-Series by Sharpe Mixers
|
Oversize tapered roller bearings are used on the output shafts to provide excess capacity to accommodate the loads generated on a mixer drive. Heat and shock loading is isolated with a flexible coupling between the motor and the gearbox. The hollow-quill shaft design allows for precise attachment to the mixer shaft without the use of an in-tank coupling. Solid shaft designs are also available. Standard c-face motor mounting is designed for simple trouble-free installation, with positive registers for repeatable alignment. Motor scoops are available if foot-mounted motors are preferred. The N-Series Helical Gear Mixer is available in top and side entering designs, with mountings ranging from simple open-tank plate mounts to complex mechanical seal systems. Sizes range from fractional to 200 horsepower. |
