Hydraulic Atomizing Spray Nozzles

The core and orifice tip design produces a hollow cone spray of very fine droplets using liquid pressure alone. The metal series are available with or without an integral strainer, and with a medium or extra wide spray angle. Separate nozzle heads have a straight thread for connection to the pipe threaded nozzle body. This enables them to be removed for cleaning easily and replaced without the use of pipe joint sealant. Nozzles are available with 1/4? male or female NPT, and with flow rates from 0.37 to 26 gallons per hour at 40 psi. LJB nozzles include an integral strainer screen. Nozzle orifice and core tip are stainless steel with the body and cap in brass or type 303 stainless steel.

Bete L Spray Nozzle

Bete L Spray Nozzle: Spiral Evaporative Cooling/Humidification/Coating/Low Flow Nozzle

The Bete L spray nozzle is a series of low flow spiral nozzles with flow rates 0.14 to 3.84 gpm (0.53 to 14.5 L/min). It also has higher flow than the Bete PJ with fine atomization. The Bete L nozzle can produce high flow misting performance (very fine hollow cone fog) at low pressure.

Design Features of the Bete L Spray Nozzle:

– A series of small spiral nozzles with orifice diameters of 0.04? (1.02mm) to 0.12? (3.05mm)
– Male connection

Spray Pattern of the Bete L Spray Nozzle: Hollow Cone Fog, nearly as fine as Bete P series

Spray Angles: 90° standard (120° by special order)
Flow rates: 0.14 to 3.84 gpm (0.534 to 14.7 L/min)

Bete MicroWhirl (MW) Spray Nozzle

Bete MicroWhirl (MW): Atomizing, Evaporative Cooling, Misting, and Fogging Nozzle

By using nozzles with very small orifices, a fine droplet size can be attained even at relatively low pressures. Misting nozzles utilize two main technologies; the first is the use of an impingement pin to achieve atomization, the second uses a very small whirl to achieve atomization. When used at higher pressures, direct pressure misting nozzles produce a droplet size that rivals air atomizing nozzles.

The Bete MicroWhirl (MW) spray nozzle is a high pressure nozzle that produces very low, extremely fine, misting protection.

Design Features of the Bete MicroWhirl (MW) Spray Nozzle:

- Outstanding atomization
– Rugged pinless design
– Drip-free performance
– 70 micron polypropylene filter
– Safety wire hole available
– U.S. Patent #7198201
– Minimum operating pressure 100 psi (7 bar)

Bete P Spray Nozzle

Bete P Spray Nozzle – Evaporative Cooling, Fogging, and Misting Nozzles

By using nozzles with very small orifices, a fine droplet size can be attained even at relatively low pressures. Misting nozzles utilize two main technologies; the first is the use of an impingement pin to achieve atomization, the second uses a very small whirl to achieve atomization. When used at higher pressures, direct pressure misting nozzles produce a droplet size that rivals air atomizing nozzles. The Bete P spray nozzle uses liquid “impinges” on pin for extra-fine atomization.

Design Features of the Bete P Spray Nozzle:

– High energy efficiency
– One-piece construction
– No whirl vanes or internal parts
– Highly efficient laminar jet impinges on target pin generating fine fog
– Male connection
